Waterfront Seafood Dining

Nestled along the Tacoma waterfront with sweeping views of the Narrows Bridge and Puget Sound, Boathouse 19 offers a quintessential Northwest dining experience rooted in local history and coastal charm. Whether you’re joining us for a celebratory dinner in the dining room or a relaxed afternoon on our waterfront deck, guests can enjoy fresh Northwest seafood, handcrafted cocktails, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere designed to showcase the beauty of the South Sound.

Originally home to a Douglas Fir lumber mill dating back to 1912, the spirit of the location lives on throughout the restaurant. Historic touches – including a bar top crafted from pieces of the old Day Island Bridge and tabletops made from vintage Nalley Valley pickle barrels pay tribute to the site’s rich maritime history while creating a memorable waterfront dining experience unique to Tacoma.
